Get even more out of your trip to Christiansø by joining a guided tour. A tour with the local guides costs DKK 75 per person and takes approximately 1 hour. Children under 10 years are free.
When the ferry docks at 11 AM from April 20th to October 18th, 2026, you can join a tour. The guides either live here or were born here and are approved by the island's administration.
The meeting point is always the blue sign with the text 'GUIDE', located when you cross the bridge to Frederiksø - this is where the tours start. Learn about the island's exciting history, the fortress from 1684, and life at Denmark's easternmost point.
Please note that the tours are not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Guided tours are available in English and German on selected dates in July and August.
